I had come to a similar conclusion that since only the candidates seem to be recognized as having standing that we needed to get the candidates to file suit, or petition the Senate.

Lessons Learned from the 1^st WA suit and where we go now.

Dear friends

Today was the day I fought back. Weeks of preparation and assisting those following suit (in some case leading) came to a head on the weekend. My computer system crashed after what looked to Microsoft IT security folks like a targeted internet attack. FBI were notified but I haven’t seen any action yet. With several Microsoft friend’s support and a backup drive from last week(fortunate) I got back on line spent more wee hours and cobbled my arguments back together just in time – barely to hand a copy to the judge for a hasty read (see attached).

All that worked to my advantage, I think in the end, but no, I did not ultimately prevail in getting the golden ring. I had several goals most of which I achieved and I think this sets us up nicely for the next in line–

Goals - no order implied

Ø Force the Sec of State to enhance the Candidate Certification process to include receipt of Declaration of Qualifications for Office as part of the application for candidacy.

Ø Force the Sec of State to expand the concept of Final Certification to include the publication of candidate’s submission of Declaration of Qualifications for Office.

Ø Verify that we could prevail in this venue against this office (SOC) without being dismissed due to the issue of standing.

Ø Verify (and learn from) if we could prevail regarding the doctrine of “Latches” (Unreasonably Interfering with a ongoing election)

Ø Verify (and learn from) if we could avoid “Joining” Obama and or Pelosi to the suit

Ø Verify if the concept of state election not national election would be accepted giving the Sec of State the authority to put into place regulations affecting the Pre and post election certification at the state level

Ø Verify if the concept of expanded Candidate submissions could be accepted.

Ø Expand the public’s awareness of this unanswered question by obtaining pretrial and post trial coverage, Preferably positive coverage but any kind better than none.

Ø Establish the moral authority for a loosing presidential candidate to file formal complaint seeking verification of the president elects’ qualifications for office.

The Judge I think had some level of contempt initially for the suit, but I remained just enough savvy, had insightful arguments and humility in begging the courts mercy and forbearance in court protocol that the judge began to yield respect. He found the arguments insightful and in two important parts correct and the defense attorney wrong. Yea, there was some small satisfaction in watching that surprise. And personally though some times I felt a bit shaky, for the most part I when it came to discussing the issues and arguing the point nervousness did not hinder my presentation. I felt the hand of God calm my spirit and the faith of those good citizens behind me was a bulwark. Many thanks.

As for the arguments and details of lessons learned. See my written interspersed with my recollections of salient points as argued. We jumped around a lot as the judge had his own agenda. At times it seemed he wanted more to preach as a co-defendant than listen but when I could give him answers I believe they were cogent. Afterwards King5 TV gave a brief interview and It did make the evening news – I recorded it but believe it I have not had the time to see how it was portrayed yet. I got a few hate mails now amidst the many hundreds of support mail and even a nasty post on Craigslist which we immediately banned. That’s the nature of the beast! No worries.
