Parent Participation

Parental support is essential for the success of your boy and the operation of the Troop.

A) Please bring the whole family to Courts of Honor - it really shows your young man that his and his friends scouting achievements are truly important!

B) Plan on participating in some way at least twice per year at an outdoor activity.

C) Parents, if your boy is in the Troop 701, you are obligated to attend troop committee meeting.  Only legitimate orphans should be un-represented.

Scout committee meeting is generally on the 3rd Sundays in the 2nd overflow.

Aaronic Priesthood Encampment – Helaman’s Camp 1999.

Tuesday, July 20th to Saturday, July 24th

This is a Jamboree type activity bringing a couple thousand LDS Scouts together in an exciting, building activity they will always remember!

Cost per scout of $64 is due June 13th.  Make checks payable to Troop 701 and submitted to Joanne Perry.

The initial deposit of $20 and the first installment of $63 will be paid by the ward and troop.

Remember that each scout needs to obtain a physical and proof of medical insurance.  These medical forms are available through Sister Barnes.  Plan early!
